Such Good Vibes!
Wow! Just wow! A few weeks ago I was “lucky” enough to experience a sewage backup in my home and I’ve been bragging about ServiceMaster ever since. Seriously folks, these guys are the best. Doug Cole showed up less than an hour after we spoke on the phone. Between Doug and his cohort Noeloni Franklin, they had all the damage cleaned up, hauled away, and set to drying in just a few hours. It was amazing. They were amazing. Such good vibes! Great communication. So kind and professional. They really helped me keep my sanity. Even the follow-up while my subfloors dried was above and beyond. Doug even walked through the damage with my insurance agent. I’m so grateful to these guys even to this day.

He had a young man named DJ helping him, and he was really good and seemed to want to learn more about the trade. Wonderful people to work with!
I had the incredible misfortune of sustaining a house fire without homeowner's insurance... Long story! Bearing that in mind, I am so happy we decided to go with ServiceMaster DSI for fire restoration services. It took three weeks to get a team to the house due to the holidays and a winter storm, and while the cleanup wasn't perfect I had no expectation it would be—given the lack of insurance I trimmed out quite a few services from the initial scope to save on costs.
Not only was I given full license to do so, Tino was extremely kind about it and never made me feel bad about doing so. Gio and Jessie did great work with the actual cleanup considering only the two of them could be allocated to the job, and Matt handled onsite coordination when the cleanup began. All in all, wonderful people to work with! While I hope I never have to go through something like this again as long as I live, if I ever do I'll be sure to ring up ServiceMaster DSI (and have insurance)!

I had a sump pump failure recently, and my insurance adjuster suggested that I use Service Masters in Champaign, Illinois. I had worked for almost a week to get the water out of the carpet in my basement and finally decided it was above my skill set. Service Master Manager Matt contacted me within hours of contact with my insurance adjuster, and the next day they were at my house and had removed all of the wet carpet. I thought my vinyl plank flooring was waterproof - it was not. Upon arrival, Ric immediately tested the flooring and found that the floor was very wet underneath the planks, and it all had to be removed. They also checked my drywall and found it to be dry. They immediately set up several fans and dehumidifiers, and within less than 24 hours, my whole basement was bone dry. They came right back the next day and removed all of their equipment.
Huge shoutout to their staff, starting with Matt, who was incredibly responsive and helpful. A true professional. The men that came to my house were polite and helpful and worked their tails off to get the job done right. Huge thanks to Ric, Luke, and Lauro for all that they did. I don’t know how many trips Lauro made up my stairs, but it was a lot. The man is a beast!
