Amazing job! We had a pipe inside one of the walls start a flood. Kris and his team were on it! Excellent communication, reasonably priced, amazing people to work with, from the workers who came inside our home who were respectful of our property, did the job with care, to the person taking our payment who explained the bill and was friendly. If you are ever in need of dry out and demolition services, these would be the go-to company. I was able to hire them immediately and they started immediately without question of payment other than signing contract. The crews involved always communicated with me on a daily basis with phone calls, text messages, and photos. I’m from Canada, so it is obvious that I would not be able to be there in person on a daily basis and this was a huge load off of my mind.

On July 9th of 2024, my wife and I returned to our home to find it flooded with 3” of water throughout the whole house. My insurance company immediately called for ServiceMasters (SM) in Lake Havasu for a water cleanup and repair. SM was on the scene within 40 minutes and began removing the water and moving all the furniture. Kris Matie of SM was our contact, he was great and super knowledgeable. On the other hand, our insurance company, Travelers, was a nightmare. Kris worked on all the problem areas and was our advocate to Travelers. The demolition and rebuild was done, and the house is now in great/better condition than it was. I have to say SM is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. I trusted their employees, and the workmanship was outstanding. Kris was also top-notch and the best representative of any company that I’ve ever worked with.

What's the best thing that can happen when half your house floods and you're 8 hours away? Service Master! Their team Steve, John, Jason, Steven & Nick - were at our house within an hour of filing our claim with Auto Owner's Insurance. It took 6 days to dry out the NEW vinyl plank (waterproof) flooring. All the affected baseboards & carpeting were replaced (with a new VP). The house looks better than before! Their communication was excellent, and we were kept informed with phone calls, texting, and photos! Excellent craftsmanship throughout the project. They even placed all the furniture where it was before the flood! I highly recommend Service Master !!! And the job was completed as promised~ON TIME!

My name is Gary Dye. My house caught fire. ServiceMaster was hired for repairs. Kris Matie was the management contact. Most of the repair was Eric and Jayson. ServiceMaster also took responsibility for all my personal belongings cleaning and segregating keep and non-keep. This was handled by Tim and Gina. What a chore deciding choices to make. And also Steven, who did some aftermarket stuff on smoke detectors. So basically 15 months of repairs. So many things to go wrong. I was so pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and quality of work these guys provided, all of them. We had some issues with smoke detectors but Kris was on it like NOW! He sent MacKenzie out to fix them, and she was great. This guy is an exceptional go-to and I'm glad I got to work with him. ServiceMaster got major kudos in my book. Could not access Google site to leave post so did this. Great work, guys, thank you.

Service Master's James Velazquez was THE BEST! So helpful, amiable, professional, timely, and knowledgeable! He was a true delight to speak with, taking great pains to thoroughly explain the process in terms that we could easily understand. An honest, hardworking individual, James spent his weekend working to get the medical space back into a safe environment. He treated us as if our emergency was now his emergency, which relieved the persons involved of any stress. His crew, Dillon, joined him for the restoration of the space. In no time at all, the space was made ready for the tenant to use once again, and we feel confident of the integrity of the work done and know that the space is safe. My problem became their problem. James Velazquez and his partner Dillon did all the work. They could not have been more responsive. James kept me updated multiple times a day. All of the Service Master crew were great! We had a leak in our wall that apparently had been going on for quite some time without our knowledge. It came up on Saturday morning, and within 2 hours of me calling them, they were at my house and taking care of business! McKenzie and John are the best! McKenzie for her skills in both customer service and getting things done and dry. John in the build back! WOW! He has some serious skills and does a great job. Very detailed and looks amazing!! His personality is very pleasant and likable. Our roof completely collapsed over the patio and our tenant was a nervous wreck wondering if the rest of the house was safe. Kris and his crew were out immediately and took care of any danger and the damage. They were finished in a week, which is almost impossible anymore! A Light at the End of the Tunnel Jul 13, 2023

I was quite impressed with ServiceMaster! I had a "mystery" leak coming up from my bathroom flooring, which was a high-quality flooring installed over existing linoleum less than three years ago. I live in a very old mobile that's in very good condition. It was difficult to find where the leak originated because it seemed to me that "everything leaked": the kitchen sink, the clothes washer (located in the kitchen), as well as the shower, whenever they were used. It started as a very small evidence of water coming through a floor seam that would disappear in seconds. I called out a few local plumbers that didn't even try to find the leak. It was very frustrating! Finally, I called my insurance people because it was getting worse and needed to be repaired before there was too much damage. They sent out ServiceMaster by River Valley Restoration and this headache became a "light at the end of the tunnel"! There were several teams working on this for a few weeks — first, the bathroom floor was torn up revealing a saturated sub-floor beneath the linoleum which was then slit open in a few spots. Next, they brought in a huge heater plus a dehumidifier which were left on 24/7 for several days to dry everything out. When that was completed everything was re-evaluated again. It was determined that the problem originated in a gap at the connection of the flange under the toilet. I called out a local plumber to resolve this. Then ServiceMaster sent more people to inspect and re-evaluate. Next, they purchased the same flooring that I had to replace what was removed because the flooring was continuous into the long hallway and throughout the kitchen. It matched perfectly. Next was how the walls should be replaced there they had cut a large hole for the drying process. I could not find anything that I liked and really wanted to keep the original look of a high-quality distressed brick. The ServiceMaster and I went to Home Depot and could not find anything near the quality or that blended well with the existing 'look' of the bathroom... until one of them saw some paneling and got the idea to leave the original and add wainscoting. This was a magic idea and transformed the bathroom! I cannot tell you how overjoyed I was with the look and the reduced cost of replacing all the walls! It was magical. All in all, I was extremely pleased with, not only the whole process, but how well everyone was coordinated in their respective part of the process! Every individual and every team of workers was very cordial, while at the same time, not wasting time to get the job done. Their appearance, conduct, and work were always very professional and beyond stellar! AND THEY CARED!!!!! Thank You ServiceMaster!

While we were flying on our first day of vacation, a neighbor noticed water draining out from under our garage door. After gaining entrance, they discovered the leak and shut the water off in our kitchen, which was flooded. We immediately notified our insurance company, who contacted ServiceMaster. While flying (glad our flight had Wi-Fi), we gave permission for ServiceMaster to stop loss and begin restoration. I don't know all the names of the folks from ServiceMaster, as much of the needed work was done while we were gone. Mackenzie, Tim, and I hope I have this right, James, were the ones I did meet when we returned. They did a very thorough job, only demo'd what needed to be demo'd. Began to prepare for the reconstruction portion, kept in contact with our insurance company in our absence. They all are doing a great job restoring our kitchen! While I hope to never have to use them again (nothing personal, ha ha), I would not hesitate to call them if needed.

Had major water damage throughout most of our home in Lake Havasu City. We had reached out to ServiceMaster by River Valley Restoration. The response was immediate, and the mitigation was quick. Then the reconstruction and restoration work began. It was a long process as there was a large amount of damage. I have nothing to say but thank you to a professional organization with professionals working hard to assure the property owner was informed and happy with the work. James Velazquez and Mackenzie Bowen get a Five Star Plus rating on a five-star system for the drying out and cleanup of water leakage from our ceiling into two rooms. They dried out things thoroughly and removed all the damaged ceiling sheetrock, wall sheetrock, carpet, and pad. They left things clean and ready for refurbishing. Because of their work, I will have ServiceMaster River Valley restoration do the restoration. James and Mackenzie answered all my questions in a professional and friendly way. They are hard workers, and ServiceMaster is lucky to have them.
