Could not have had a better experience. They were prompt, had amazing follow-through, explained the process to me with kid gloves, worked directly with my insurance, and were so friendly.
Two big reasons I’d go back to them aside from the above:
1. The team talks. From the front desk to the guys on the job, to the owners. Whoever you speak to knows who you are and what the status is.
2. They’re honest. Got an original quote from another vendor and it was much higher. I went back to the other vendor and told them no; once I did that, they came down in price. ServiceMaster by Burch was transparent and honest the whole way through.

I can’t thank this company and employees enough. When a pipe burst and flooded our basement, they were here within hours of my call. They were highly recommended by a friend and I understand why. Everyone was knowledgeable, direct, and personable.
They removed our wet insulation, drywall, and flooring and hauled away immediately. Fans and dehumidifiers were set up and checked daily for moisture and further damage. They worked directly with our insurance company—even our adjuster said they were the absolute best.

I could not have gotten a better group of people to help with the cleanup after my fire. They did an excellent job and are very reliable. I always knew when the team would be arriving at the house to work. Tara was excellent with communication. March 2025 I called the office of Servicemaster by Burch in Otego NY on New Year’s Eve at 2:30 pm after being notified that our summer home in the Catskill Mountains of N.Y. had a pinhole leak in the plumbing and was causing a spray of water that had apparently been going on for perhaps three weeks before being shut off (yes, I do have a floor drain). There was some black mold on walls, furnishings, my workshop and lots of tools in it had already rusted. Sean of Servicemaster was at our home the day after New Year's Day and set to work doing restoration work. He brought in dehumidifiers, heating units, air cleaners and immediately began cataloging items with photos for me that could be salvaged and those that could not, and also sent me a 360-degree video of the damage since we are now residents of So. Carolina and far away - very helpful. My brother-in-law lives nearby and has looked in once in a while and gave me progress reports. Sean had brought in a mold specialist who wrote up a report on the extent of remediation work needed and Sean began removing non-salvageable items, the drywall from all walls, the acoustical tiles, and the floor carpet. All were disposed of. Sean and his team have been efficient, easy to work with, and obviously knowledgeable in their field. Fast forward and now the work is done and I am ready to have a contractor come in to rebuild the basement. Our insurance company, State Farm, will reimburse us immediately upon receiving receipts for replacement cost of damaged and discarded goods. Bottom line: I completely recommend Servicemaster by Burch for any restoration work needed.
